Our Covid-19 Response
Spa guests are required to fill out a Covid-19 pre-screening waiver at the time of booking online and a full screening form upon arrival at the spa.
Clients who show up to the spa symptomatic of illness will be sent home without treatment.
We ask all guests to answer all screening questions honestly for the safety of our staff and other guests. If you have been exposed to Covid-19 since booking your appointment please call us immediately upon diagnosis so we may discuss rescheduling options.
Masks and Hand Sanitizing
Effective March 1, 2022 in accordance with the Province of Alberta, guests of The Haven Day Spa no longer need to wear a face mask while in the building, common areas of the spa and in all treatments.
Staff and practitioners will continue to wear masks during treatment for your protection if you wish.
We will continue to provide high quality 3 layer surgical masks to all guests who would like one.
We ask that guests use the hand sanitizer provided throughout the spa when entering and during their stay, especially when handling store merchandise.
All staff at The Haven are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Guests are reminded that they are legally required to isolate for 10 days (5 days if fully immunized) if they:
-Have any core symptoms of COVID-19 (new onset of cough or worsening chronic cough, fever, new or worsening shortness of breath/difficulty breathing, runny nose, sore throat, loss of sense of taste or smell) that are not related to a pre-existing illness or health condition.
-Test Positive for COVID-19 on a molecular PCR test or an at home rapid test
Guests will not be permitted to book while symptomatic or during the isolation window, whichever is longest. In these cases, please call us to reschedule your appointment.
Staff are not be permitted to come to work if they are experiencing any of the core COVID-19 symptoms, or any symptoms of illness.
Cleaning and Sanitizing
We continue to use medical-grade Caviwipes and anti-viral spray solutions proven to work against the Covid-19 virus in the lounge area, all treatment rooms and bathrooms. We sanitize regularly throughout the day, and immediately after each client, to ensure everyone's safety.
