Our Covid-19 Response

Spa guests are required to fill out a Covid-19 pre-screening waiver at the time of booking online and a full screening form upon arrival at the spa.
Clients who show up to the spa symptomatic of illness will be sent home without treatment.

We ask all guests to answer all screening questions honestly for the safety of our staff and other guests. If you have been exposed to Covid-19 since booking your appointment please call us immediately upon diagnosis so we may discuss rescheduling options.
Masks

Effective September 4th, 2021 in accordance with the Province of Alberta mandatory mask mandate for all indoor public spaces all guests of The Haven Day Spa must wear a face mask while in the building, common areas of the spa and in all treatments (during all aspects) in which a face mask is possible.

 

Guest may briefly remove their face mask while in the lounge in order to consume beverages, provided that they are socially distanced from everyone not in their cohort. We will continue to provide high quality 3 layer surgical masks to all guests who would like one.

All Spa staff are required to wear a face mask while at work. 

For guests with a medical exemption, we require a negative result from an Asymptomatic Rapid Antigen Screening within 24 hours of your appointment please call Guest Services at (587) 578-5569  for full guidance and booking procedures.

Vaccination Status

All staff at The Haven are fully vaccinated (one is waiting on the second dose) against Covid-19.

Spas are not required to participate in the provincial exemption program. Guests are not required to show proof of vaccination to enter the spa.

 

Mask wearing however, is mandatory and we ask that guests use the hand sanitizer provided throughout the spa when entering and during their stay, especially when handling store merchandise.

Screening

Guests

Guests are reminded that they must isolate for 10 days if they have tested positive for COVID-19 or have any core symptoms (cough, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose, sore throat, loss of taste or smell) that are not related to a pre-existing illness or health condition. Guests will not be permitted to book while symptomatic or during the 10 day window, whichever is longest.  In these cases, please call us to reschedule your appointment.

Screening Staff

Staff will be screened daily prior to arriving at the facility and will not be permitted to come to work if they are experiencing any of the core COVID-19 symptoms, or any symptoms of illness.

Cleaning and Sanitizing

We continue to use medical-grade Caviwipes and anti-viral spray solutions proven to work against the Covid-19 virus in the lounge area, all treatment rooms and bathrooms. We sanitize constantly during the day, and immediately after each client, to ensure everyone's safety.
