Yoga Classes at The Haven
Our first yoga class series is going so well we are offering more classes!!
Join Corrine Sato, Yoga Teacher, Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner and Reiki Master for some Yoga Fundamentals classes starting at the end of February!
Corrine will also be offering Reiki and Thai Yoga Massage Treatments starting later in the month

Yoga Foundations Series
Do you want to learn yoga? Do you feel intimidated going to a yoga studio or join a large group? Come to The Haven for a 5-week intimate beginner yoga series where you will learn yoga poses in an intimate setting. Each class will build upon each other, which will help strengthen and stretch muscles while you build more confidence on your mat. This class is great for beginner yogis, anyone who has not taken a yoga class for quite some time or is recovering from an injury.
Classes are on five consecutive Sundays
February 26, March 5, 12, 29, and 26 from 12:00pm-1:00pm
Beginner Yin Series
Yin yoga is a great way to learn how to connect back into our bodies by bringing awareness to our breath, thoughts and sensations in our bodies. Yin is a slow gentle practice that allows yogis to hold poses for a longer duration while being supported with blocks and bolsters. Some of the benefits of Yin Yoga include stretching connective tissues carefully, promotes relaxation, boosts circulation, improves sleep, develop breath awareness and may help balance emotions.
This 5-week series is great for anyone who has never tried Yin Yoga before. Even if you have tried Yin, this is a great class for anyone who wants a small and intimate setting.
Classes are on five consecutive Tuesday Evenings
February 28, March 7, 14, 21 and 28 from 8:00pm-9:00pm
Both Series are $100+GST each
Sign up for both to pay only $185+GST for the two
(We will reimburse you $15+GST if you sign up for both)
Hips and Front Body Openers
Join Krysta for a class designed to open up the front body where most of us hold significant tension.
Glutes and hamstrings will also be addressed for good measure.
Class starts with mindful breathing, flow to postures designed to open hips & lengthen the lumbar spine finishing with gentle restorative postures designed to release tension in the upper body. Krysta will offer up myofascial release adjustments for those who wish to receive hands on work.
Six Classes over six weeks. $20+GST Drop Ins
Sign up for all six classes to save $3/class (talk to Krysta if you'd like to sign up for all classes)
Class will finish with tea, discussion and a little laughter
First two people to sign up for each series receive $10 off their first Thai Yoga Massage with Corrine AND $10 off a Regular Priced Massage or Esthetics Treatment with Krysta
Classes are offered as a series (with the exception of the Hips and Front Body Class) however if the classes don't fill up drop ins will be allowed.
